Live Artesian Water
Veresk products are truly alive. They are prepared on the base of artesian water extracted from a depth of 178 metres directly at the bottling plant. The careful purification it is subjected to allows the natural water to preserve its mineral composition, which ensures a soft taste and crystal clarity.
Kashin Mineral Waters
The Veresk plant extracts and bottles water from three wells, one of which is located on the famous Kashin spa resort. To ensure the water is always delivered to consumers just as it was created by Mother Nature herself, Veresk relies on unique Italian-made equipment, and only uses ultraviolet rays to eliminate bacteria, without any filtration. All the natural richness of water, including its salts, minerals and their compounds, as well as the ionic structure, remain intact.
Anna Kashinskaya, the mineral water's name, is in honour of the Holy Blessed Princess Anna Kashinskaya, the patroness of the region. Soon after the well began its commercial operation, the source was consecrated by Archbishop Victor of Tver and Kashin. In addition, this special water can be rightfully called both alive and holy.
The studies conducted by the scientists at the Moscow Central Research Institute of Balneology and Physiotherapy proved that, in terms of its therapeutic effect, the water from Kashin is not inferior to the mineral waters from the Caucasus and, in some respects, even surpasses them. Each bottle that comes from Veresk contains a genuinely pure natural mineral water with all the healing properties of the Kashin mineral springs.

Как все начиналось
В конце 19 века российское государство решило ввести монополию на производство водки, и по всей России было построено 350 казенных винных складов. Дошла эта государственная водочная инициатива и до Тверской земли. А если точнее – то до города Кашина. «Какое удачное место для водочного завода!» - подумал министр финансов Витте. Вода под землей уникальная, даже особы царствующие сюда на воды ездят. Железная дорога рядом – значит, в близлежащие города будет легко доставлять изготовленное «зелено вино». Сказано – сделано. Так в 1898 году появился Кашинский Казенный винный склад №3. Первые объемы производства впечатляли – его годовой оборот в 1901 году составил почти 100 тысяч ведер сорокаградусного вина, в просторечии - водки. И все было бы хорошо, да грянула революция.
Судьбоносное решение
Год 1940 стал поворотным в судьбе завода. Директором тогда была тогда Раиса Николаевна Новожилова, коренная жительница Кашина. В ее семье еще с купеческих времен хранились рецепты разнообразных крепких напитков из ягод, трав, кореньев и меда. А ведь сколько таких рецептов еще хранится у жителей Кашина! Было решено создать заготовительные пункты, где принимали у населения собранные дары природы. Приносили люди и рецепты разнообразных напитков, сохранившиеся с незапамятных времен. Так русские традиции и щедрость природы легли в основу горьких и сладких настоек, которые начал выпускать Кашинский спиртоводочный завод из трав, кореньев, свежих ягод, меда и уникальной кашинской воды.
Война и мир
Великая Отечественная война внесла жесткие коррективы в работу Кашинского завода, но не остановила его. Продукция завода в основном поступала в воинские части для поддержания боевого духа защитников Родины. Порой «фронтовые 100 грамм» согревали сердца бойцов как строчки писем из дома. А в отдельном здании завода вырабатывалась боевая горючая смесь для фронта. И была Победа… Вновь зашумели все конвейеры Кашинского теперь уже ликеро-водочного завода, и сходило с них уже 63 наименования продукции - водки, горькие настойки, сладкие настойки и наливки, ликеры, аперитивы – чего только душа ни пожелает!
Олимпийский рекорд
С каким размахом проводились в 1980 году в Москве XXII летние Олимпийские игры! И с какой ответственностью относилось советское руководство ко встрече многочисленных гостей со всего мира. Именно поэтому Кашинскому ликеро-водочному заводу был дан заказ на создание напитка, который бы в полной мере отразил щедрость и гостеприимство русской земли и, конечно, был бы изготовлен в традициях русских крепких напитков. Так появилась знаменитая «Тверская горькая». Рецепт ее и сейчас прежний – все те же 9 трав, создающих невероятно богатый аромат и глубокий пряный вкус, все та же крепость исконно русских традиций. Новая настойка настолько всем понравилась, что мгновенно стала не просто визитной карточкой завода, но и всей тогда еще Калининской области. Да и по сей день везут домой в качестве сувенира с Тверской земли именно эту знаменитую горькую настойку.
Новое имя, старые традиции
Времена шли, менялись власти и законы. Но завод пережил и «сухой» 1985 год, и бурные 90-е. Почему? Даже спустя 100 лет на заводе сохранили народную рецептуру и натуральность ингредиентов. И лишь отсутствие у завода оригинального имени, отражающего его уникальность и традиции, омрачало успех. И в 1992 году такое имя было найдено – «Вереск». Среди предложенных работниками завода названий именно «Вереск» было признано наиболее емко отражающим натуральность всей выпускаемой продукции, следование исконно русским традициям и рецептам. «Вереск» стал символом доверия для множества покупателей.
Между прошлым и будущим
Век XXI пришел за веком XX-м. Многое изменилось, но «Вереск» остался все тем же заводом, построенном на русских традициях. А это ценят не только в России. Подтверждение тому - золотые медали и звезды, постоянные трофеи с главной российской выставки «Продэкспо». А еще - золото и серебро с турецкой выставки East-West Drinks, и высшая оценка с Международного алкогольного конкурса (Германия, г. Нойштадт), серебряная медаль водки «Мировая Люкс», привезенная с международного конкурса International Wine and Spirit Challenge (Лондон). Победы в конкурсах — это важно, но не главное. У «Вереска» другая цель – доверие покупателей. Поэтому, начиная с 1898 года по сей день «Вереск» - это соединение натуральных, подаренных природой компонентов напитков и народных рецептов, бережно хранимых с момента основания завода. Это сама российская история со своими взлетами и разочарованиями, воплощенная в напитках: горьких и сладких, крепких и легких, но всегда натуральных.

And also - gold and silver from the Turkish exhibition East-West Drinks, and the highest score from the International alcohol competition held in the German city of Neustadt. And also - a silver medal of "World Lux" vodka, brought from the international competition International Wine and Spirit Challenge, from London.
But is the victory in competitions, even such large ones, the goal for which it is worth working for more than 100 years? Unlikely. Veresk has another goal - the trust of customers. That is why, since 1898 to this day, "Veresk" is a mix of natural components of beverages and recipes preserved by nature, carefully preserved since the foundation of the distillery, this is the Russian history with its ups and downs, embodied in drinks: bitter and sweet, strong and light, but always natural.
