It was then, according to a special order of "Veresk", the collectors checked by years of impeccable cooperation harvested cranberries in the protected Karelia. Each berry has undergone rigorous selection before being allowed to manufacture.
Not all cranberries are equally rich in vitamins, microelements, pectins, other biologically active substances. There are corners of nature where the wild berry is truly a pantry for health. This is the cranberry from Karelia - the northern miracle, which collectors pick for "Veresk". Perhaps, it is too shallow, it is more difficult to pick off, and it grows in remote places, where it is not easy to get there. But just such cranberries are needed to create an incredibly tasty, fragrant and energy-rich drink, which has the right to be called a tincture or a bitter from Veresk.
Purchase of the best berries of the season, as well as roots and grasses, is carried out in Arkhangelsk, Pskov, Vologda regions, Karelia, the Urals, Siberia. Every year, countrymen and villagers collect 140 tons of cranberries, 90 tons of cowberry, the same amount of currants, bird cherries, and other berries for Veresk. Bashkiria collects as many as 50 kinds of herbs.
